..:: Rules of Competition ::..
These are the rules that must be followed at all times while you are in our competition.
1.) Your website may not have ANY Adult Material. If you have quesitons please email Lord Boomboom and we will take a look at your website.
2.) Your website MUST NOT be a pornographic sites or links to pornographic sites.
3.) Absolutely no bashing of any competition, competitor or staff will be tolerated. If you are found to be indulging in the above activities you will be removed from the competition.
4.) You must have a working guestbook which preferably takes HTML. This is because some tasks which we give our members for Bonus Points may involve signing guestbooks.
5.) You will have no copyright infringements and no stealing of other's work. If you use something that belongs to another person please ask permission first.
6.) You can enter any number of sites in the comp. In case you are in the final level and you only have your own sites to compete against you will be required to place a site back to the first level and let another member join you in the competition :)
7.) Please make sure you upload all images and vote banners that you use to your own server. Do not steal our Bandwidth. If we find you stealing our bandwidth, you will be asked to stop it. If you do not heed to our request you will be removed from the competition.
8.) Your site must be accessible to everyone. No members only sites or password protected. We need to be able to see your site to approve it and others need to see your site to vote for it. :)
9.) Please do not lie about your age. We need you to be above 16 years of age to join. If you are less than this, please send an email to us from your parents giving you permission to join. War of the Websites - Weekend Challenge will not be responsible for anyone lieing about their age.
10.) You MUST self vote a minimum number of 2 days out of 3 days when we run in order to win and advance a level. If you do not do so you will move down a level. If you fail to vote a minimum number of days for consecutive 3 weeks you will be removed from the competition. However you will be sent warning emails each week you do not self vote for 2 days.
11.) This is a VE competition so you are allowed to use VE friends and VE Boards. Though right now no VE Boards run on weekends for competitions but still we hope some might :)
12.) The levels will have some Bonus Points added to your scores. This will be informed to you. So please do not complain when you lose due to more bonus points received by your opponent. You are joining us knowing well that there are a provision for Bonus Points. These points are given in all levels including the final levels :)
13.) LOAs are allowed in all levels subject to following conditions: You will be allowed no LOA in the final 2 levels. You will be allowed only 2 weeks LOA in Level 2. In 1st Level you can take as many LOAs as required. In case you are in an upper level and cannot be granted LOAs, you will be required to move back to Preparation level when you come back. We understand that we do have Emergency situations so we hope that you will cooperate with us regarding the LOAs.
